About Me
Henry Smith - Train With Henry
As a fitness trainer at The Rascal Club, I bring a background in sports management, certifications in personal training and running coaching, and ongoing studies in nutrition. My mission is simple: to help as many people as possible improve their overall health.

My journey began about four years ago when I started university. Until then, I had been focused on competitive running. But during that transition, I chose to step away from racing, thinking I needed a break. Very quickly, I realised something was missing; without that regular endorphin release, I wasn’t myself. I felt flat, unfocused, and unhappy.

That experience taught me how essential movement and health are to our quality of life, not just to stay fit, but to feel alive. I returned to running, not for competition, but for my own well-being. And though training isn’t always easy, the mental clarity, confidence, better sleep, improved digestion, and overall happiness I get from it make it worth every step.

That’s what I want to share with others: good health isn’t just about living longer, it’s about living better. And the process doesn’t have to be a punishment. It can be something you enjoy and grow with. Once you feel that shift, you won’t want to stop. You’ll want to get stronger, healthier, and more in control of your life.
That mindset is what helped me run a 15-minute 5K and cycle the length of the country, and it’s what I hope to inspire in others every day.
Outside of fitness, I love to travel and seek out new experiences. In the summer of 2024, I spent eight weeks exploring Eastern Europe, which only deepened my passion for adventure and connection. Just like training, travel challenges you, opens your mind, and helps you grow: all values I bring into my coaching.
